To provide opportunities for youth who are experiencing barriers that prevent them from entering the work force.
A 16 week training program, offered twice per calendar year, designed to prepare participants for employment.
Youth at risk, between the ages of 18 & 30, who have at least a grade 9 education, and who are experiencing barriers that prevent them from entering the work force will be eligible for selection. Fifteen participants are selected in each training program. To remain in the program, participants are required to make a commitment to the program and meet established attendance policies and program expectations.
The opportunity to gain knowledge and skills necessary for personal and professional success, develop positive work habits and performances, and set educational and work-related goals.
