Offering a positive contribution in the employability of adults with a disability who are experiencing barriers to employment.
Individualized employment exploration and readiness, job search assistance and techniques, establishment of an action plan, employment matching and job coaching, ongoing support and follow-up, in addition to coordinating vocational assessments, job carving and work assessments.
Adults who have a disability as defined by the Saskatchewan Human Rights Code, wishing to participate in the program must be legally eligible to work in Canada, have demonstrated a willingness to work and are experiencing barriers to employment.
Developing job search techniques, enhancing new skills, and gaining valuable work experience, developing collaborative relationships, receiving ongoing support and follow-up services, gaining employment in the community, and building self-confidence.
