Office/Program Support Worker.
We are seeking a person with a special blend of skills and abilities. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, engaging and works well with people. The position is a blend of office reception, accounting clerk and dispatcher duties. Typical duties as follows: 1. Provide back up and relief coverage for Dispatcher. a. Ensure that all vehicles are dispatched in accordance with accepted operating procedures b. Prepare trip sheets for drivers. c. Schedule in-town rides and out-of-town charters. d. Complete the drivers work schedules, schedule casual cover off as required. e. Book in buses and cars for maintenance. f. Compile daily and weekly statistics. g. Prepare weekly bank deposits. h. Utilize TransSched software to register riders and schedule trips for drivers 2. Operating telephone switchboard 3. Reception duties, including opening and closing office must be punctual 4. Handle incoming/outgoing mail 5. Sort monthly cheques 6. Assist Budget Counsellor by preparing checks, deposits and creating vendors in Adagio accounting program 7. Assist Administrative Manager by preparing checks, deposits and entering GL entries in Adagio accounting program 8. Data entry using excel 9. Prepare income tax for Budget Counseling Participants Must be able to pass clearance with Canada Revenue Agency 10. Typing, work processing, filing, photocopying, faxing, etc.
